The figures are a guide only and based on standard models as sold by UK dealers.
Classic Impreza Non-Turbo and Turbo 1993-2000 UK

Impreza GX, WRX & STI ‘Bugeye’ 2001-2002
The 2001-2002 GX, WRX and STI models were commonly referred to as the ‘Bugeye’ models due to their headlamp design. Available in non-turbo form badged as a GX and the turbo models being WRX and STI

Very similar to the Bugeye 2001-2002 models but with a revised front end and slight changes to interior, the Blobeye model has proven extremely popular and their used values are still high for low mileage well looked after examples. Available in saloon and wagon models as WRX and saloon only in STI form.

Impreza R-Sport, WRX & STI ‘Hawkeye’ 2006-2007
The Hawkeye introduced in 2006 took an almost identical body to the previous Blobeye models and made changes again to front end, interior and slight rear end light changes. The engine changed from the previous models 2.0 litre to a new 2.5 litre size and available in both saloon and wagon / estate for R-Sport and WRX models and saloon only STI variants. Several special editions are available such as RB320 and GB270

Impreza 2008-2012 RX / R, WRX and STI Hatchback and Saloon
The 2008 Hatchback model was Subaru’s move to take the Impreza into the mainstream hatchback market competing with the likes of the VW Golf GTI, Ford Focus ST and RS and Audi S3 models. With a brand new design from the ground up, and featuring both non-turbo and turbo models. The 2.5 Litre engines were of a similar design to the previous Hawkeye models. Subaru also produced a Saloon model based on the hatchback design but with the saloon rear end. Performance figures were much the same as the hatchback versions.

2014 – 2019 STI including Final Edition
In 2014 Subaru released a brand new design of STI, featuring the now fairly old 2.5 litre engine but with a brand new interior and exterior design. The WRX was no longer officially sold in the UK, which is a shame as it featured the brand new engine design. The new STI seemed to be popular with both press and owners and in 2018 the Final Edition was launched in a limited number of 150 cars with, amongst other upgrades bigger brakes and numbered plaque.
